Matanuska Glacier Walk from Anchorage

Walk on a glacier and learn about the fascinating natural history of southcentral
Alaska on this fully guided nine-hour tour out of Anchorage.

This tour does require walking on uneven surfaces for at least two hours. If you are joining the tour in winter, it is particularly important to have “good knees, good backs, and good balance”. The tour will stop at a local lodge overlooking the glacier to enjoy lunch either before or after your glacier walk.

Winter Snowshoeing Adventure from Anchorage

Explore an alpine valley with a guide who will introduce you to the wonders of
snowshoeing.

No experience required, but you should be able to walk at least three miles of uneven rolling terrain over the course of
two hours.

We will enjoy a lovely and restful Shabbat with the Anchorage Jewish Community.

Homestead Aurora Adventure

Travel north, outside of the city lights, to scan the northern skies for the amazing
aurora. Arrive in the community of Joy,
Alaska and experience the warmth and homestead hospitality of the Arctic Circle
Trading Post. Watch the darkened skies for the Aurora Borealis, nature’s greatest
light show. Ending the night at Pike’s Waterfront Lodge Fairbanks.
